The Little Prince (Style Guide)

For my Graphics/Licensing class last Fall, I reimagined Antoine de Saint-Éxupery's "Le Petit Prince" into a viable licensed brand and created an entire style guide utilizing all illustrations that I rendered in AI CS6.

These are photographs of the physical style guide book that I constructed.
I hand bound and embossed the entire 18-panel accordion-fold book. One side of the book features a continuous narrative of the story/character profiles, while the other side is the actual style guide and an archive and listing of all of the design elements and legal copy.
One of the highlights of this piece is the golden elastic that wraps around it -- while keeping the book shut when not in use, it also carries a matching golden USB Flash Drive that holds all of the assets (.ai files) to be handed off to other designers.
